Executive Director and Founder of HPAF, Morgan Silver is a native of Miami, Florida.
Morgan brings extensive experience with horses to the operation of HPAF. Throughout her career, Morgan has ridden and trained Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Quarter horses, American Saddlebreds, Paso Fino’s, Tennessee Walkers, Mangalarga Marchadors, Andalusians and Draft Horses.
She has Hunt Seat instruction at the original Gladewinds Farm; Side Saddle training under the late M. Robert Mannix; Three and Five Gaited Saddlebreds and Roadsters with James Ragsdale and Cynthia Wood Stables; Saddle Seat Equitation under the instruction of Helen Crabtree; Dressage with Cindy Spalding.
Morgan has been a Judge and Instructor with the International Side Saddle Organization and is also a life member since 1980.
Morgan has presented equine cruelty investigations training to law enforcement and animal services officers throughout Florida including the Florida Agriculture Crimes Intelligence Unit , the Southern States Agricultural and Rural Enforcement Association, Levy County Sheriff’s Office, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and to over 160 officers in conjunction with the Florida Department of Agriculture.
Morgan presented and published at the North American Veterinary Conference in January 2009“Equine Neglect and Abuse When is it Cruelty”. Morgan has also studied Oriental Medicine and Nutrition at the Kushi Institute in Boston, Massachusetts and in Kiental, Switzerland.
