At Tidewater trail head, Goethe State Forest, Levy County, Florida

Early Entry fee: $20.00 per horse/rider - received by us on or before October 23, 2008.
Your entry fee entitles you to one “hand”…Additional “hands” can be purchased for $5.00 each
Late Entry Fee: $30.00 per horse/rider – received by us after October 23, 2008

Overnight Camping $10.00 per night per horse per night. Camping limited to 30 trailers and must be reserved no later than October 23, 2008. Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase.

What is a Poker Ride? The “poker ride” - or “poker run” as it is often called - is a marked trail where riders pick up poker playing cards at designated stops in order to end up with a “poker hand”… it’s five card stud on horseback. The riders will draw their cards at various stops along either of the trail routes and the scores will be calculated at the end of the ride. The highest scores win and scores are calculated using Hoyle’s Rules of Poker.
