Raji

Raji was one of eight horses abandoned in the east Everglades, who were rescued by South Florida SPCA. HPAF took on Raji and he became a very long-term project. Raji began his retraining in 1994. He was adopted but then returned from one home. Years of training made some progress, but Raji was still unpredictable and at times dangerous. He was sent to Tim Metzger in Webster, Florida for training in 1999. Tim was able to reach Raji's busy mind and bring him along to a point were he could be adopted.

Raji is now with his adoptive mom, Margaret Batten in Brooksville, Florida.
