With the help of Horse Protection and the Levy County Sheriff’s Office I got to safety. Now I am feeling and moving so much better and ready to find my forever home.

My name is Petunia, and I am a nine year old Mustang. I was rescued by the Levy County Sheriff’s along with 15 other horses from a severe case of starvation and neglect. Horse Protection teamed up with the Levy County Sheriffs and came to my aid. I like to hang out with my herd mates (known as the flower girls, Iris, Lily, and Rose). The Sheriff’s office in Levy County and Horse Protection teamed up to save our lives. I was feral when I came to Horse Protection, but I have been learning this thing called Parelli Natural Horsemanship which I like. It helps me understand people and helps people understand me.
