Let’s Talk!

Tell us which horse(s) tug at your heartstrings and which sponsorship level fits your budget, and we’ll help you make a match. As a sponsor you will receive the Horse Protection Newsletter, updates and photos of the horse(s) you wish to sponsor. As well as recognition in the Horse Protection Newsletter and website, and visitation with your sponsored horse.

Sugar

Sugar

My name is Sugar because I am so sweet. I am a twelve-year-old miniature mule. When I came to Horse Protection my feet were so overgrown I could barely move. With the help of Horse Protection and the Levy County Sheriff’s Office I got to safety. Now I am feeling and moving so much better and ready to find my forever home.

My name is Peggy. I am an 8-year-old Thoroughbred mare. I am very talented at the Parelli 7 games and have great ground manners. I would make a great companion horse. My caregiver passed away and that is why I am at Horse Protection. Can you please adopt me so that I have my own person to love me? Thank you for reading my story. Love, Peggy.

Petunia

My name is Petunia, and I am a nine year old Mustang. I was rescued by the Levy County Sheriff’s along with 15 other horses from a severe case of starvation and neglect. Horse Protection teamed up with the Levy County Sheriffs and came to my aid. I like to hang out with my herd mates (known as the flower girls, Iris, Lily, and Rose). I also like to nap a lot during the day and to munch on green grass. It’s fun! You should try it! Thank you for caring about me and reading my story. Love, Petunia.

Iris

My name is Iris, and I am an eleven-year-old Mustang. I was rescued from starvation and neglect along with fifteen other horses in Levy County. The Sheriff’s office in Levy County and Horse Protection teamed up to save our lives. I was feral when I came to Horse Protection, but I have been learning this thing called Parelli Natural Horsemanship which I like. It helps me understand people and helps people understand me. I am athletic and outgoing. Please route for me and help me find my forever home. Love, Iris.
