My name is Texas. I am a Thoroughbred mare born in 2005. I was severely starved and seized by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office. I went from being only 600 lbs. to now being a very healthy 1100 pounds thanks to Horse Protection and their care. I love spending time with my caretakers and getting groomed. I also enjoy time with my herd mates and the occasional frolic around the pasture. Neck rubs are something I will never turn down. I am still searching for my forever home and someone to love me.
