Pedrito

Pedrito

Pedrito and Cano are enjoying their forever home in sanctuary at Horse Protection.

“My mother’s final request was for her horses not to suffer when she could no longer care for them.

My parents’ 50 years of marriage was built around horses as joy and bonding. My mother found them healing at a very young age as many do.

When my father passed and my mother’s disease took a final hold I needed to find someplace I could trust. I found HPAF as a perfect match. The staff is professional and thorough with every aspect of the care of my mom’s “Boys”.

I am forever grateful.”

Polo

Polo

My name is Polo. I was one of Horse Protection’s most severe starvation cases. The people who rescued me had to put me in a sling for me to be able to stand as I was so weak, I could not stand on my own. I am 29 years old, but I am young at heart! I make a great companion horse and am searching for my loving forever home. Love, Polo
