My name is Polo. I was one of Horse Protection’s most severe starvation cases. The people who rescued me had to put me in a sling for me to be able to stand as I was so weak, I could not stand on my own. I am 29 years old, but I am young at heart! Horse Protection evaluates its horses extensively and provides them with natural horsemanship training to give them any basic groundwork skills that may be lacking so they are suitable companions.
